The Law Office ofBradley Johnson

Attorney Bradley Johnson

Managing Partner & Paralympic Medalist

"The fortitude used to overcome the devastating loss of my legs, and achieve the highest amateur athlete accolade, fuels my desire to provide clients with expert legal advice, compassion, and empathetic representation."

Bradley Johnson completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Florida, Tampa Campus, earning a B.A. in Criminology. In June 1993, while travelling to Gainesville for his law school entrance exam, his vehicle hydroplaned into a guardrail, resulting in the traumatic amputation of both legs.

Conscious and aware of his injuries, Bradley communicated with good samaritans to provide contact information for family and friends. He immediately realized that his life's challenge at that moment was to heal—physically and mentally.

Demonstrating the resilience that would later define his legal career, Bradley cancelled the test score taken the day of the accident. Only three months later, while still healing, he re-took the exam in a wheelchair.

Education & Career

Bradley began law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in June 1994, graduating in 1997. After working in real estate development and for a private law firm, he opened his own practice in 2010.

Paralympic Achievement

"Aside from excelling professionally, Bradley earned a Bronze medal at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games in the sport of Sailing, becoming the first African-American to do so for the United States."

A Mission for Justice

As a disabled individual, Bradley took every opportunity to improve his daily functionality and noticed the obstacles to accessibility for a wide range of disabled individuals. This broadened his perspective and galvanized his purpose to assist individuals during times of crisis.

The Law Office of Bradley Johnson is dedicated to serving those in need of zealous legal advocacy. Bradley's first-hand knowledge of the difficulties associated with litigating insurance claims after sustaining injury allows him to assist all clients with removing barriers to access.

Our firm is aware of systemic imbalances and aims to level the playing field through effective advocacy and staunch legal representation.
